For our Team Christmas Party last night, I made up a bunch of these coaster sets as gifts for my downline who attended the party. They were so much fun to do!!!
Here they are cooling off -- they were super hot coming out of the oven!
I did 4 different colors, each set had 1 of each of these 4 colors:
Then this is what they looked like all bundled up :)
I used the French Background Stamp in Creamy Caramel Craft Ink, then put on the leaf images from Brocade Basics in Always Artichoke Craft Ink. The flowers are varied in color, I used: Rose Red Craft Ink, Pumpkin Pie Craft Ink, Eggplant Envy Craft Ink and Ballet Blue Craft Ink. Then I poured Clear Embossing Powder over them and put them in the oven at 350 degrees for 7 minutes.
After they cooled, I stacked a set of 1 in each color and tied them up with 1" Chocolate Chip Double Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.
The tags are Close to Cocoa Cardstock and Confetti Cream Cardstock with the leaf Brocade Basics stamped in Always Artichoke Classic Ink and the for you image from Fresh Cuts Close to Cocoa Classic Ink stamped in . Both the Tag Punch and Small Tag Punch were used along with a 1/8" punch and 1/4" Rose Red Grosgrain Ribbon for tying.
Edited to Add: I've had some more questions on how these were made, so thought I would clarify here! The coasters are just plain old Vanilla Tiles from the Bath Department of Home Depot. You can buy them individually for .18 cents each, or you can buy a big box of around 100 for $15 - I just bought the big box :) As far as the sealing goes -- when you're using the Embossing Powder and putting them in the oven you do not need to use a spray on sealer -- the Embossing Powder protects what needs to be protected. But you really do need to bake the coasters -- if you use an Embossing Gun it is TOO hot all at once and the powder looses it's shape, running a bit. It also chips off easy. Hope this helps!

I love your tiles! My question is how did you do the stamping? Did you stamp the background, wait for it to dry and then stamp the leaves and wait for them to dry and then stamp the flowers? If you could please e-mail me with an answer that would be great! sburiel@roadrunner.com These are really great color choices!

Are these just the glazed tiles? I had heard these wouldn't be absorbent as coasters like the tumbled tiles. Could you please clarify about that. That's great if they'll work as they're much cheaper.

Aly, these are stunning! Are the plain tiles the "coated" kind with a clear/shiny finish? I had bought some of the tumbled tiles, but found that they had a lot of irregularities in them (i.e HOLES). Yours look so smooth! Thanks for clarifying and for always being such an inspiration!
