Polka Dot Petals, 3 in a Row!

This is another design inspired by the Pink Flamingo DSP, but I toned it down a little bit by using Pretty in Pink instead of Cameo Coral or Rose Red. The Designer Series Paper that the pink comes from is Tea Party DSP.

I used a lot of different accessories for this card - to get a sampling of your very own, consider joining in on an accessory club!

Here's the card that I came up with:

The colors are Tempting Turquoise, Pretty in Pink, Summer Sun and Basic Black. The stamp sets are both FREE Sale-A-Bration sets, "Congrats" and "Polka Dot Punches". The punches that I used were the 5-Petal Punch and 1-1/4" Circle Punch. For the accessories, I used Fresh Favorites Buttons, Flower Assortment Brads and Summer Sun Corduroy Buttons. A White Gel Pen was used on the button and the center of the flower to add the white.

Pink Flamingo Congrats

OK so when this Designer Series Paper came out my eyes started buggin' and I said that I would NEVER use it -- it was just too loud and crazy..... somehow after attending Leadership Conference and Regionals Stampin' Up! managed to convince me that I HAD to have it.... I came home and it was the 1st new DSP I bought! Go figure!!!!

The coloring isn't the best online (at least on my monitor) but trust me - it's great stuff!!!

So this is a card that I came up with:

I was thrilled to see that the flower image from the Perfect Princess Stamp Set matched up with the design in the paper so well. That's a set that I had to have, but never seem to use much. Hooray! The flower images were colored in with Summer Sun, Cameo Coral and Rose Red Stampin' Write Markers. The center of the main flower was covered with Crystal Effects and then had Dazzling Diamonds Glitter sprinkled into it.

The ribbon and brads are both Tempting Turquoise.

February Stamping Class

I've finally had the time to sit down and finish completing the card line up for the February Stamping Classes this weekend!

The deadline for these classes was supposed to be on Friday - but since I was so late in getting the additional samples out and because I'm confident that I have enough supplies on hand to accommodate more stampers, I've extended the registration deadline to this Wednesday, February 18th! This means that there is STILL TIME for YOU to register! But you only have a day to do so!

Bulk Stamping!

Hi Everyone!

Just thought I would let everyone know the "why" of not many recent posts... my creative time has been spent doing lots of "bulk" stamping! I completed 40 Bridal Shower Invitations, and then that had to be followed up with 80 Baby Shower Thank You Cards from the shower we had on Sunday - and since these ones are for me to send, I also have to now fill out and send all 80 cards!!! Then tomorrow my mom is coming over to help me and we're going to be doing 75 Baby Shower Invitations for the next shower in March! I'll then have to do another 75 Thank You Cards.... phew!!!!

Then, I'm needing to get 200 Birth Announcements ready to go so that I can just put the information and picture on them and get those in the mail....

And of course some more Thank You Cards to have on hand for after birth gifts!

Needless to say, I haven't had much time to "play" and tinker.

When I haven't been stamping in bulk, I've been designing card kits through June so that all of those are ready to go and I won't have to "work" during baby's 1st few months.

Phew!!! I need a few more hours in the day :)

At any rate, that's my excuse!!! I'll try and get something that's just for fun up soon, and also show you what I've been working on!!!
