Convention 2009 Photos

WOW am I ever terribly delayed in posting Convention Photos!!! 2 months delayed!!!!

Better late than never... or maybe at this point never WOULD be better, but I'm going to share anyways -- I'm on a mission to get 100% caught up on photos by the end of the week so that I can start fresh with my NEW WEBSITE GRAND OPENING coming SOON!!!!!!!

Awards Night - I was blessed to walk the stage at Awards Night 4 times this year! Outgoing Advisory Board, #5 Ranking in Leadership, #77 Demonstrator of the Year and Southern Caribbean Cruise:

Folk Art Guild "Booth"

A couple of weekends ago, I was asked to have a "Booth" in the Rochester Folk Art Guild's Annual Fall Open House in their Graphics Department.

And then I had some questions about what the calendar pages look like -- MDS does come with Calendar Grids for 2010 and 2011 -- more will be available each year.

These pages aren't all too exciting, so I'll only share 2. But you can add whatever you want to the grids -- if you want to type out holidays, birthdays -- anything like that, you can! You can also add pictures or stamps to the calendar dates, so you could put a Heart on February 14th and things like that.

I just choice to put a matching element in the corner of each page:

Event Details:
Join other Stampers from all around Central New York to put on the Holiday Music, bring out the Christmas Cookies and get in the spirit of the Season as we stamp the day away! You'll go home with all sorts of completed projects including: Christmas Tags, Holiday Home Décor, Christmas Cards, Treat Containers and more! Keep your handmade items for yourself, or give them away as Christmas Gifts to someone special!

Registration Information:
All Registration Forms and Payments MUST be received by October 31st in order to attend! Because of the large quantity of products that have to be ordered and prepared, no exceptions to this deadline will be able to be made. However, while the Registration Deadline is October, our space is limited to 40 participants. With 8 Demonstrators working this event, we're likely to hit that number quickly! If we reach 40 before October 31st, then Registration will CLOSE before the October 31st deadline. Registration is 1st come, 1st served, so to ensure that you receive a spot, Register Today!!!

Event Fee:
The cost of this event is $49 and non-refundable after October 31st (before October 31st you will have the opportunity to take either a cash or product refund). After the October 31st deadline if you're unable to attend, you can pass your spot on to a friend and/or receive all of the project supplies that were given out that day to use on your own. There will be a lunch break during the day for you to either eat a lunch that you've brought with you. Or, you can have a yummy lunch delivered for you from Panera's for just $9.06.

The Event Includes:
There are eight Demonstrators working to make this event a success. So you're sure to have plenty of guidance and instruction as you complete your projects! Your registration fee also includes Christmas Cookies, Hot Apple Cider and Hot Chocolate served throughout the day. The Stampin' Up! Products featured on the next page will be given to you the day of the event. You'll use some of these items to complete your projects during the event, but whatever is leftover at the end of the day is yours to go home with and use on your own!!

In addition to the above products that you see, you will also receive all of the other supplies that are needed to complete your projects such as cardstock, ribbon, brads, etc. You'll also have the use of our punches, stamp sets and inkpads! I'm working on a 12x12 Calendar with My Digital Studio and am just squealing -- so had to share!!!

It is the EASIEST page I've ever made -- it took a grand total of 10 minutes. Yet it's my FAVORITE!!! I'm just loving how it turned out:

Card for Women's Retreat

A couple of days ago I shared the Gratitude Journal that we're doing as part of our Women's Retreat.

Today I thought I would share one of the two Prayer Cards that I'm going to be teaching at the Retreat. I don't normally use retired items, but you will find Pink Pirouette in this project. Since it's for a ministry, I was trying to cut costs for them and one of the ways I could do that was by using up leftover retired items I had.

What a Day!

PHEW! What a day!!! Wonderful in every way, but boy am I exhausted!

We had our Annual Heartfelt Stamper's Oktoberfest Retreat today and what a BLAST did we ever have!!

We did so much stamping and sharing -- oh my gosh the sharing!!!! Everyone brought such wonderful projects to show - so cool!

I haven't uploaded my photos yet but will very soon and will share highlights with you.

For now, here's a photo we took on another camera that I happen to have now.

October is Here!

October is here!!! I just love October. I'm a fall gal, I love having a little cooler weather (but not too cold!) -- jeans and a long sleeve shirt is the way I like to be!

I also love Halloween. I don't know why exactly, but it's always been one of my favorite holidays. My house is decorated for the occasion right on October 1st, I have an excuse to have candy in the house starting on October 1st... you get the picture.

I'm especially excited for Landon's 1st Halloween. We picked out his Monkey Costume already, and I've been collecting Halloween Board Books and have already begun reading them to him this morning! We've also been mapping out some fun family activities, such as Pumpkin Picking, going to Balloon Manor and a Pirate Festival!

Where does all of this fit in to Stampin' Up!? In every way!!!
